V-Cut
A v-cut is faking towards one direction and moving in the opposite direction in order to get open for a pass or shot.    V-cuts are used in many sports such as soccer, basketball, and lacrosse.

Give and Go
The give and go is a play in which a player passes the ballk to a teammate and immediately cuts towards the net or goal to receive a return pass.  The give and go is used in many sports such as soccer, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, team handball, and ultimate frisbee.
